- Aikhionbare Samuel Isowa
Aikhionbare Samuel Isowa is the chairman of Elixir Securities Limited. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Benin.
He was previously Head - Business Development at Ascot Flowlines limited. Prior to that, he was the Head - Business Development, at Oando Services Limited, Manager- Business Development at Resourcery Limited and the Operations Manager – Vesa Food Agencies.
Samuel has over 20 years’ experience and competence in the Oil and Gas sector. He is currently the Head, Crude Desk of Aiteo Energy Resources Limited. He has attended various courses which includes international oil supply, oil trading & price, transportation, refining and trading from Oxford University UK.
- Dr. Christopher Edordu
Christopher Edordu is a renowned economist, former President and Chairman of the board of Afreximbank, former Managing Director and CEO of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank. He was the former Chairman of the National Agricultural Credit study. He currently serves as the Chairman on the Board of Directors of Elixir Asset Management Limited.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of Bourse Africa. He has significant experience in the banking sector and has several laurels to his name. He has worked across the entire spectrum of banking including the continental, national and rural levels. At the continental level, Dr. Edordu was the pioneer President as well as the Chairman of the Board of the African Export Import Bank (Afreximbank) based in Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Edordu served as the Managing Director and CEO of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank. He has also had a stint in rural banking and was the Chairman of the National Agricultural Credit Study which formed the basis for the establishment of Community Banks in Nigeria. Dr. Edordu has also held several positions in the Central Bank of Nigeria from which he retired as Departmental Director. He has also held several Board and similar positions within the Nigerian governmental system. He was actively engaged in international trade finance as well as projects in Africa for many years
- Madu Chinyere Fidelia
Acting Managing Director
Madu Chinyere Fidelia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigeria Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining Elixir Securities in 2013, Chinyere began her career in stock-broking in 2002 while working with Trust House Investment Limited in the Financial Control Department where she gained 6 years cogent experience. After which she joined Stacoprime Capital Limited as the Head Relationship Management/ Operation.
While working with Stacoprime Capital she established and stream-lined the operations of the company to meet acceptable capital market standard. From Stacoprime, she moved to Union Assurance Company Limited as a Life Marketing Executive in 2008 after which she joined Lead Securities Limited in 2010 as a dealer on the floor of the Nigeria Stock Exchange.
- Clara Mshelia–Whyte
Clara Mshelia-Whyte is a NonExecutive Director at Elixir Securities Limited, the Group Managing Director/ CEO Of Elixir Investment Partners Limited and the Managing Director Elixir Asset Management Limited.
Prior to Elixir, She was the Managing Director / CEO of BGL Asset Management Limited. Prior to this, she held the position of Deputy Managing Director of the same company. Clara was also a Vice President of BGL Securities Ltd, holding the office of Chief Marketing Officer in the company’s Northern Region.
She has an LLB Law from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State and obtained a BL from the Nigerian Law School in 1998. Prior to joining BGL Plc, she worked as a solicitor with Ricky Tarfa & Co Chambers and at Admiralty Fleet Limited as the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser. She has extensive experience in Investment Banking and Asset Management.
She has attended various courses on the Nigerian Capital Market and Investment Banking including courses on client relationship management, how financial markets work, pension fund, strategy, marketing and selling financial services, asset securitization. She attended the Harvard Business School High Potential Leadership Programme in 2008. Clara is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
- Sarah Ogbemudia
Sarah Ogbemudia is a Non-Executive Director of Elixir Securities Limited, an Executive Partner – Corporate Services at Elixir Investment Partners Limited and is the Director - Institutions at Elixir Asset Management Limited.
She has 13 years cognate experience in Business Development and Client Relationship Management. Prior to joining Elixir, She held a position as the Head, Client Advisory Division (Lagos) of BGL Asset Management Limited. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Ilorin and MBA from the University of Nottingham, UK.
Sarah began her professional career in the consumer banking unit of First Bank Plc. where she was trained as a client service quality assurance specialist. Following this, she had a stint in BGL limited before proceeding to Bank PHB Plc. (now Keystone Bank) where she built a career spanning 10 years holding leadership roles in the Commercial and Personal banking as well as the Public Sector Units with emphasis on client retention and business performance. Sarah was part of the strategic team of the bank that developed the personal banking structure formulated to create a total banking experience for High net-worth individuals.
Prior to re-joining the BGL Group, she was a Branch Business Manager in Keystone Bank with responsibilities that included strategy formation to identify and harness business opportunities in the Middle and Upper tier markets. She has attended extensive local and international training courses and seminars on Asset Management, Client Relationship Management, International Trade, Investment Banking and Strategic Marketing amongst others.
- Anita Yakubu
Head, Equity Sales
Prior to joining Elixir, Anita was the Head-Wealth Management/ E-Marketing platform at Marina Securities Limited.
She led new product development efforts and the selection of investment strategies and managing client relationships. Her major achievements were helping to increase the size of assets under management and customer base. She was also the Team Lead for high net worth clients as well as Head of Operations and Customer Services. Before joining Marina Securities, Anita was Branch Operations Manager and Head of Processing for United Bank for Africa PLC. In this role, she was responsible for running the branch operational efforts and supervision.
Anita also worked at the then Standard Trust Bank in funds transfer, loan disbursement, customs duty and customer services. She began her banking career with Central Bank of Nigeria. Anita holds an MBA from University of Calabar and B.Sc. Economics from the University of Maiduguri.
